Rules of the Road

RSVP according to the desired date requested by the event organizer/host and after your RSVP if you decide to not participate let the host know

Fill up before the event...Make sure your car's tank is full and your personal tank is empty

Depending on who is organizing, check to see if there are directions posted on the website, download and print them

Be on time to the driver's meeting...Instructions are always important...There might be last minute changes

During the drive there will be no tailgating...Keep a safe distance from the car in front of you

Keep the car in front of you in sight...Keep the car behind you in sight

99% of the time we travel at safe speeds but always drive within your skill level and never drive faster than your ability

If you pass the leader, You are the leader so be prepared to lead

If we stop and you are leading, make sure there is plenty of room for all cars to safely pull off behind you

If you decide to pass and you are leading make sure all cars are able to pass safely as well

If you are leading and pass through a high traffic area find a spot where a regroup can safely and completely get off the road to regroup

We want everyone to drive within their experience and ability levels, but do please allow others to pass if your pace is holding everyone back.  This is not a race but be courteous and let others enjoy their experience without being held up.

If you decide to take a different route, drive on your own to the destination or just decide to reach the destination without using the directions, you are on your own and may make for a stressful situation for the leader...When in doubt stay in line and follow the assigned instructions but also tell the host/leader of your intentions because it wouldn't be the first time an event leader had to go looking for a lost car

     Be safe have fun
